The Reverend Dr. Kate Fields serves at St. Augustine's Episcopal Chapel on the campus of Vanderbilt University. Kate is a biologist turned pastor and holds a Doctorate of Ministry in Land, Food and Faith Formation from Memphis Theological Seminary, a Masters of Divinity from Vanderbilt Divinity School, a MS in Biology from Austin Peay State University and a BS in Biology from Cumberland University. Kate is a multi-generational Nashvillian and works with local faith communities to help them become more invested in the local food system. In her free time, she loves spending time with her spouse, Dillon, listening to Dolly Parton, cooking and growing food, supporting local farms, and deepening community around the table.
