OUR NAME AND LOGO
Our name tends to spark good conversations. "Urban" points to our home base, Nashville and Middle Tennessee. "Green" covers everything environmental and sustainable. And "Lab" traces back to our founders' original vision of building an educational facility, though these days we think of all of Nashville as our lab for learning about sustainability.
Our logo tells the same story as our name. It merges a building and a tree into one mark, so at a glance you're looking at a skyscraper, and at a second glance, branches. That's the point: urban and green aren't opposites here, they're two sides of the same shape, living together in harmony.
