ALLIANCES
Sector by sector, Nashville's alliances are turning shared values into shared action.
Real change in Nashville happens when people who share an industry, a mission, or a Sunday morning start asking the same question: how do we do this better? Urban Green Lab's Alliances bring together organizations, businesses, and leaders within specific sectors to trade ideas, solve shared problems, and build sustainability practices that stick. Whether it's a stadium, a coffee shop, or a congregation, the work looks different everywhere, but the commitment is the same.
From the field to the front office, Nashville's sports teams and venues are finding ways to cut waste, save energy, and engage fans in sustainability. The Alliance connects sports organizations across the city to share strategies, solve common challenges, and prove that a packed stadium and a smaller footprint aren't mutually exclusive.
Nashville runs on coffee, and this new Alliance is making sure the industry runs a little greener while it does. Local roasters, shops, and cafes are coming together to tackle everything from packaging waste to sourcing, building a coffee community that's as thoughtful as it is caffeinated.
Nashville's faith communities have long been gathering places for care and stewardship, and this new Alliance channels that spirit toward the planet. Congregations across the city are connecting to share resources, swap ideas, and explore what environmental stewardship looks like within their own traditions and buildings.
