Special guest speakers Linda Breggin of Environmental Law Institute, Seema Prasad local chef and restauranteur, and Beadle of Compost Nashville are all playing an integral role in launching this city-wide initiative to prevent food waste, rescue surplus food to direct to hungry people, and compost and digest what’s left to help build healthy soil. The Nashville Food Waste Initiative is a new project by the NRDC.
