SiTC: Making Nashville A Top Spot for Sustainability

February 9 @ 12:00 pm - 1:30 pm CST

Free

Nashville is known for many things: amazing live music, great food, and friendly residents, but can we add sustainability to that list? Join us as we talk with the city’s Chief Sustainability & Resilience Officer, Dr. Kendra Abkowitz, about her quest to ensure sustainability claims a top spot in what makes Nashville unique, livable, and fun. We will hear more about Dr. Abkowitz’s own personal journey of sustainability and dive into the goals she will help implement within the Mayor’s Zero Waste Master Plan, Nashville’s Climate Action Plan, and other important sustainability initiatives.

Special Guest Speaker:

Kendra Abkowitz,
Metro’s Chief Sustainability & Resilience Officer

This event is free and open to the public. Registration required to view live.
