How Sustainability Influences our Health

November 9, 2022 @ 12:00 pm - 1:30 pm CST

Free

Do all Nashvillians have the same health outcomes when we each try our best to be healthy? We can do all of the recommended moving, eating, and going to the doctor, but can we really be attuned to our full health if the sustainability of the communities where we live, work, and play is not considered? Sustainability leads us down a path to cleaner air, soil, and water all of which can impact the individual and collective health of our community. Join us for a conversation with John Vick, the Interim Director, Office of Primary Prevention at the Tennessee Department of Health as we discuss the health implications of sustainable action in Nashville and how we can ensure all of our neighbors have access to livable and equitable communities.

This event is free and open to the public. Registration required to view live.
