Urban Green Labs thoughtfully collaborates with a broad spectrum of people, organizations, and funders committed to protecting the environment, empowering communities, and promoting justice.  It evaluates all potential collaborations and gifts to determine if they align with our values and mission. Urban Green Lab will not collaborate or accept gifts if the collaboration or gift (a) would result in Urban Green Lab violating its corporate charter, (b) would result in Urban Green Lab losing its status as an IRC § 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization, (c) is too difficult or too expensive to administer in relation to their value, (d) would result in any unacceptable consequences for Urban Green Lab, or (e) are for purposes outside Urban Green Lab’s mission. Decisions on the restrictive nature of a gift, and its acceptance or refusal, shall be made by the Executive Committee, in consultation with the Executive Director.  Regardless of where individuals work, we always welcome individual engagement as a member of the community in learning how to live sustainably.
