News 4 Nashville – Today Mayor David Briley announced the Food Saver Challenge to combat food waste in Music City, dozens of restaurants and businesses have jumped on board.
The non-profit, One Generation Away, rescues 6-7,000 meals a week that would otherwise be thrown away. Urban Green Lab co-leads the Nashville Food Waste Initiative.
