SUSTAINABLE WORKPLACES COLLABORATIVE
Urban Green Lab’s Sustainable Workplaces Collaborative is for Nashville area workplaces that want to be more sustainable and need support educating their staff and creating a culture of buy-in and engagement. We equip your employees with the education and resources to empower staff to make daily choices that protect people and the planet and also:
- help save costs
- attract and retain talent
- improve brand reputation
- avoid environmental risks to the business
Most of all, as a member, you are a part of a community of practitioners who want to do work for the benefit of a more sustainable Nashville.
Core Benefits
As a member, Urban Green Lab can support you with some or all of the services below.
Making a Plan
Urban Green Lab will work with two to three sustainability champions from your team to create a culture of learning about sustainability rooted in the initial education assessment. We'll give you the tools and resources you need year-round so you can share them with your staff for deeper learning.
Training Your Staff
Our educators will facilitate a training with your staff about sustainability, workplace practices, and how Nashville is tackling sustainability as a city. Staff will also be invited to two virtual lunch-and-learns with possible guest experts on more advanced sustainability topics, which will be recorded and archived for later viewing.
Connecting with Peers
Two representatives from your organization will be invited to all six meetings of the Nashville Sustainability Roundtable at rotating peer member workplaces to connect and network with champions from other industries, tour the host's facilities, engage new vendors, problem-solve collectively, and bring best practices back to your workplace. The first meeting is free to attend for prospective members. You’ll also be invited to special events, like B Tennessee socials.
Equipping with Resources
As a member, your sustainability champions will have access to our online community platform of resources, personal introductions to local and national service providers, a curated monthly newsletter with resources for workplaces, and our support answering questions related to sustainability at your workplace.
Collaborative membership also includes all the benefits of a Nashville Sustainability Roundtable membership.
2025 Sustainable Workplaces Collaborative Dues
Dues are based on the number of full-time employees (FTEs) in your workplace who stand to benefit either directly or indirectly from membership over time. Membership can begin any time of the year. Dues are subject to change.
