Urban Green Lab is a 501(c)3 tax-exempt organization and your donation is tax-deductible within the guidelines of U.S. law. To claim a donation as a deduction on your U.S. taxes, please keep your email donation receipt as your official record. We'll send it to you upon successful completion of your donation.

You will support UGL's mission to teach communities how to live sustainably. We accomplish our mission by organizing, training, and connecting people in classrooms, households, and workplaces – places where culture begins. In all of these places, we incorporate education on two strategic topics of sustainability for Nashville: environmental justice and food waste, connecting everyday decisions to the impact on our neighbors and the planet.

By giving monthly or yearly, you invest in a way that makes sense for you and make a consistent impact over the course of your giving plan. Plus, monthly or yearly gifts enable us to strategically expand our programs and help us manage our operations more efficiently.

A donation receipt will be sent to you at the email address you provide at checkout. Please be sure to keep a copy of your receipt for tax purposes. You will be sent an individual receipt each month when your donation is processed.

Yes! Your credit card number is NEVER available to Urban Green Lab. Your card information is encrypted using industry-standard SSL technology to protect your information and provide a safe and secure environment for online donations. We will not sell, trade or share your personal information with anyone else, nor send donor mailings on behalf of other organizations, and we will only share personal information if you have given us specific permission to do so.

Choose an amount to give once or each month, and we'll automatically bill your credit or debit card.

To change your giving amount or credit card information, log in to your member profile. This was created for you automatically the first time you donated or created a fundraising page on the Classy platform. Once you’ve logged in, scroll to the bottom of the "My Profile" tab. Here you will be able to edit your recurring donation amount, as well as your credit card billing information. Once this is completed, the changes will take effect on the next scheduled billing date of your transaction.

Your recurring donation can be canceled through your "Member Profile". Go to www.classy.org and log in to your "Member Profile". If you no longer prefer to be billed on a recurring basis, select "Cancel" next to your recurring donation. You will then be asked to confirm that you would like to cancel your recurring donation. This is all that needs to be done to cancel your recurring donation. Please keep in mind that there will not be a confirmation email sent when this is cancelled.
