Jacob Straessle

Jacob Straessle is an MBA candidate specializing in finance, strategy, and entrepreneurship at Vanderbilt University's Owen Graduate School of Management. Actively contributing to the university community, Jacob serves as a committee member for the Turner Family Center for Social Ventures and a board member for the Venture and Entrepreneurship Club.
His commitment to sustainability and environmental responsibility is evident in his prior role at Entegrity Energy Partners, an energy company dedicated to optimizing building efficiency, where he played a pivotal role in developing large-scale energy efficiency projects for public and private sector clients throughout Tennessee, Mississippi, and Arkansas. Jacob's recent accomplishments include spearheading the implementation of new solar policies for K-12 districts in Mississippi, which involved managing solar service agreements with school districts, navigating policy changes, and fostering sustainability initiatives with students.
A native of Arkansas, Jacob received a bachelor’s degree from Sewanee: The University of the South, where he graduated Magna Cum Laude in Environmental Sustainability. Outside of his professional endeavors, he finds joy in activities such as mountain biking, fly-fishing, and exploring Percy Warner Park with his dog and girlfriend.
