Monika Falat is with Caterpillar Financial, where she currently works as a Valuations Consultant in the Asset Management department. Sustainability became one of Caterpillar’s Values in Action back in 2014, integrating it into the company culture. Since 2025, sustainability has been shifted to the company’s purpose statement – to build a better, more sustainable world. Caterpillar publishes an annual Sustainability Report that outlines the work the enterprise is doing globally to be more sustainable. Monika organizes an employee lead group that shares sustainability tips and volunteers outdoors together.

Monika was born and raised in the Chicago area, moving to Nashville to attend Belmont University in 2017. Outside of work, she enjoys camping, running, hiking, paddleboarding, and gardening. You can likely find Monika with her fiancé and dog, Daisy, going on walks around the different greenways Nashville has to offer. Monika also enjoys cooking and baking, supporting Nashville’s farmers’ markets when she can. Monika loves living in Nashville for all the access to nature the city offers, the great food and restaurant scene, and the endless opportunities to see live music.
