C&D waste occupies one of the largest shares of our city’s waste stream. At the rate, our city is growing this is already a huge issue on the path to get even more important. How we deal with waste will shape so much of Nashville’s future, tune in to learn about some of the work being done to close this loop.

Metro Public Works and Urban Green Lab are partnering on a new educational series “Sustainable in the City: Thinking Upstream” focused on how Nashvillians can better reduce, reuse, and recycle and live more sustainably.

Hosted by Metro Public Works’ Waste Reduction Program Manager Jenn Harrman and Urban Green Lab’s Sustainability Education Manager Patrick King, Sustainable in the City: Thinking Upstream will feature interviews, webinars, and panel discussions with Nashville’s top experts in all areas of waste and sustainability.
