SiTC Episode 21: Nashville’s Traffic Calming Program

November 17, 2021 @ 12:00 pm - 1:30 pm CST

Free

Safer roads are just a few tweaks away with the concept of traffic calming. Adding a speed bump here, a round-about there, and reducing speed from 30 mph to 20 mph can have outsize effects on improving the safety of a roadway. Join us as we learn more about Nashville’s efforts to improve neighborhood quality of life and make safer streets for drivers, cyclists, and pedestrians alike.

Special Guest Speakers:

Derek Hagerty,
Engineer
Nashville Department of Transportation and Multimodal Infrastructure

This event is free and open to the public. Registration required to view live.
