The Nashville Food Waste Initiative is looking for partners to advance community-scale composting in Nashville. Thinking of starting a composting enterprise or site? This virtual workshop will cover: setting up a site, equipment, and tools, common pitfalls, composting best management practices (BMPs), building and managing a pile, engaging the community, and navigating zoning & regulations.
We also invite all those interested in considering a pilot or demo site to watch ILSR’s 7 min video on Prospect Heights Community Garden.
